Valve Casting Parts – Custom Manufacturer for Fluid Control Components

Ningbo Hansheng Machinery Parts Co.,Ltd. (Ningbo Yifei Machinery Parts Co., Ltd.) is a China-based Valve Casting Parts manufacturer and supplier serving the oil and gas, chemical, power, water treatment, and automotive industries. We produce valve bodies, bonnets, discs, stems, and other valve components using sand casting, investment casting (lost wax), and die casting, with secondary CNC machining for tight tolerances. Our factory in Ningbo, Zhejiang, covers 5,000 m² and operates under an ISO9001:2000 quality system. Most of our valve casting parts are exported to the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and other European countries.

Our Valve Casting Parts Range

We supply a broad range of valve casting parts in multiple alloys and casting processes. The table below summarizes the available types, typical materials, and primary applications.

Product Type Casting Process Common Materials Typical Applications
Valve Body Castings Sand casting, investment casting WCB, WCC, LCC, alloy steel, stainless steel Oil & gas pipelines, chemical reactors, power plants
Alloy Steel Valve Parts Sand casting, CNC machining Alloy steel, duplex stainless steel High-pressure steam, corrosive media
Steel Valve Parts Sand casting, investment casting Carbon steel, stainless steel Natural gas, water supply, general industrial valves
Valve Auto Parts (Sand Casting) Resin sand casting, green sand casting Ductile iron, alloy steel Automotive cooling, exhaust, fuel systems
Precision Casting Valve Parts Investment casting (lost wax) Stainless steel, alloy steel, duplex steel Instrumentation, safety valves, aerospace
CNC Machined Valve Parts Cast blank + CNC machining Alloy steel, stainless steel, carbon steel Precision seats, stems, discs, custom assemblies

Process and Application Fit

We select the casting process based on the part geometry, required mechanical properties, production volume, and cost target. For large valve bodies (up to 5 tons) we use resin sand casting; for complex thin-wall components we use investment casting; for high-volume automotive valve parts we use die casting or green sand casting. All castings can be supplied as-cast or fully machined to your drawing.

  • Sand casting – suitable for low to high volumes, part weight from 0.5 kg to 5 tons, economical for large valve bodies.
  • Investment casting – near-net shape, excellent surface finish, ideal for stainless steel and complex geometries.
  • Die casting – high dimensional consistency, suitable for aluminum, zinc, and magnesium valve parts in medium to high volumes.
  • CNC machining – post-casting finishing for tight tolerances (e.g., ±0.01 mm on sealing surfaces).

Materials and Critical Specifications

We work with a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. Common materials for valve casting parts include:

  • Cast iron – economical, good wear resistance for water and low-pressure applications.
  • Carbon steel (WCB, WCC, LCC) – standard for oil and gas valves.
  • Stainless steel (304, 316, CF8M) – corrosion-resistant for chemical and food-grade service.
  • Alloy steel (e.g., 4140, 4340) – high strength and temperature resistance for steam and high-pressure systems.
  • Duplex and super duplex stainless steel – for aggressive sour gas and offshore environments.

We can also supply parts in brass, bronze, and aluminum depending on the application. Our quality assurance includes material certification, dimensional inspection, and pressure testing as required.

Capacity, Accuracy, and Automation Integration

Our production capacity spans from prototype quantities to high-volume runs. We operate CNC machining centers, heat treatment furnaces, and a full range of inspection equipment. Typical dimensional tolerances:

  • Sand casting: CT9–CT12 per ISO 8062
  • Investment casting: CT4–CT7
  • CNC machining: ±0.01 mm on critical features

We can integrate with your ERP or quality system, providing inspection reports, material certificates, and traceability documentation. For automated production lines, we configure the casting and machining process to match your cycle time and quality targets.

Quality Assurance and Acceptance Testing

Our quality system is certified to ISO9001:2000 (upgraded to ISO9001:2008 for production). We perform 100% dimensional inspection on critical features and conduct material verification via chemical analysis and mechanical testing. For valve parts, we can perform pressure testing (hydrostatic or pneumatic) per API 598 or your specified standard. We also offer third-party inspection by SGS, BV, or other agencies upon request.

Information We Use to Configure Your Solution

To prepare a precise quotation and manufacturing plan, we need the following project information:

  • Part drawing (PDF, CAD, SolidWorks, or ProE) with dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish requirements
  • Material specification (grade, standard, or equivalent)
  • Annual quantity and batch size
  • Required certifications (material cert, pressure test, NDE)
  • Delivery schedule and packaging requirements
  • Any specific quality or regulatory standards (API, ASTM, EN, etc.)

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the typical lead time for valve casting parts?

A: Lead time depends on complexity and quantity. For standard sand-cast valve bodies, tooling takes 2–4 weeks, and first samples are ready in 4–6 weeks. Production lead time for 100–500 pieces is typically 4–8 weeks after sample approval. We will confirm the schedule in our proposal.

Q: Can you supply valve parts with full machining and assembly?

A: Yes. We offer cast blanks, semi-finished parts, and fully machined components including drilling, tapping, and surface grinding. We can also supply sub-assemblies if required. Our CNC machining capability allows us to hold tight tolerances on sealing surfaces and threaded connections.

Q: Do you provide material certificates and pressure test reports?

A: Yes. We supply material test certificates (MTC) per EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, and can perform hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure testing per API 598, ISO 5208, or your specified standard. Third-party inspection is also available.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for valve casting parts?

A: MOQ depends on the casting process and part size. For investment casting, MOQ is typically 100–500 pieces. For sand casting, we can accommodate lower quantities (10–50 pieces) for larger parts. We also support prototype runs for new designs.

Q: Do you export to Europe and the US?

A: Yes. Most of our valve casting parts are exported to the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and other European countries. We are experienced with international shipping, customs documentation, and packaging for ocean or air freight.
